Carol Dyhouse is a social and cultural historian, author of several well-reviewed books. Glamour: Women, History, Feminism was published by Zed Books in 2010; Heartthrobs: A History of Women and Desire by Oxford University Press in 2017, and most recently, Love Lives: From Cinderella to Frozen, also published by OUP, in 2021. Carol is an (emeritus) Professor of History at the University of Sussex, committed to making intelligent social history accessible to a general readership. She lives in Brighton.
