Kristin Aune

Educated at the University of York, and King’s College London (Ph.D.),  Kristin Aune is currently a senior lecturer in sociology at the University of Derby, where she teaches courses on feminism, gender and religion.  She is a regular conference speaker and has contributed to BBC local radio and Radio 4.  Kristin has written for the Guardian comment page, many other publications including The Church Times, Third Way magazine and the Sydney Morning Herald.

Kristin Aune has been named by The Guardian as one of the ‘Next Famous Five Feminists’, and the book which she co-wrote with Catherine Redfern, ‘Reclaiming The F Word’, was published by Zed Books in June 2010.

Kristin and Catherine are available to speak on topics such as gender, women, feminism and contemporary religion.
